Sunday Services

9am Holy Communion

A traditional language said service lasting about 40 minutes from the Book of Common Prayer.

10.30am Morning Worship . . .

This is attended by most church members and is also the most accessible for newcomers. Most music is led by musicians and singers and some is recorded, with a mixture of hymns and more contemporary songs (all projected onto screens). After the first part of the service during term-time (except on the 1st Sunday of the month), primary school-aged children are invited to enjoy their ‘Junior Saints’. There is a crêche area for parents to use with 0-3s. Coffee, tea and biscuits are served in the adjoining Barber Rooms following each service.

The 10.30am service follows a monthly pattern:

1st Sunday of the month we have ‘Saints Alive’- an All Age service for the whole church family, lasting 45 minutes to an hour. Occasionally there will be a baptism at this service.

2nd and 4th Sundays of the month includes Holy Communion, which all Christians are welcome to receive. Prayer ministry is available to individuals after communion.

3rd Sunday of the month is a Morning Prayer service which includes occasional interviews and information spots.

5th Sunday of the month is a Morning Prayer service which often includes baptisms.

Sunday afternoons . . .

Frog Logo.jpg

FROG is our group for young people of secondary school age. They meet in The Loft (formerly the Upper Asset Room) every Sunday except the first of the month in term time at 4.30pm until 6pm. They enjoy making friends, drinking hot chocolate, playing games and discovering more about following Jesus in today's world through a range of activities.

FROG leaders would be happy to welcome you - just come along any Sunday in term time. Any questions? You can get in touch with the leaders at frog@allsaintsfaringdon.org.uk
