Worship Leader: All Saints’ Church, Faringdon

Is God calling you to a new ministry? Is God challenging you to step outside your comfort zone and to use your musical gifts in a different environment?

We, at All Saints’ Church, Faringdon, are praying for God to bring us a worship leader. Faringdon is a growing market town between Oxford and Swindon whose population is set to increase to 11,000. Our mission is ‘Connecting people with Jesus and sharing His love in our everyday lives’. We have a congregation of about 120 people at our 10.30 am Sunday service and are seeking to grow by bringing people to faith in our loving Lord. For further details please visit our church website at www.allsaintsfaringdon.org

We’re looking for someone who worships God themselves and can lead us in worship, being sensitive to our context. We are the only Anglican church in the town, firmly within an evangelical tradition, but include within the congregation a range of Christian backgrounds. We seek to combine the best of contemporary and traditional music, including items for all ages. We currently have a keen group of singers and musicians. Ideally, our worship leader will be a keyboard player and/or guitarist.

We have it on our hearts to move forward in God’s grace to continue to develop our worship and praise. This paid post is for 5-6 hours a week, centred on preparing for and leading worship at our 10.30am Sunday service.

If it’s possible God may be calling you to help us, we’d love to talk – please contact Rev Steve Bellamy on 01367 240106 or via revsbellamy@gmail.com for an informal preliminary chat.
