Paul Walker’s ordination as priest - 10.30am on Sunday, 23 June at Dorchester Abbey. Because that is exactly the time of the main service at All Saints’, and the congregation of St Mary’s would not have time to get there after their 9.00am service either, the PCCs have decided to cancel both our services that morning so that as many people as possible can attend the service to support Paul, Sheree and the girls.
We have arranged a coach for those who prefer an easier journey without the bother of finding parking (not easy close to the Abbey), although if you have other commitments afterwards, you may prefer to make your own way. If you would like a seat on the coach, please contact Katie Foot. The charge is £6 per adult and £4 per child of secondary age, younger children free.
The coach will LEAVE Faringdon Market Place at 9.00am (don’t be late!) and should be back in Faringdon by 2.00pm at the absolute latest (hopefully before).
if you are going to come under your own steam, as it were, it would be helpful if you could also let Katie know, so she can pass on total numbers to the Abbey so they know how many of us to expect.
